BARCELONA, 18 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Junts has requested this Saturday that the vote of the Census of Spanish Resident Absent (Cera) of the Catalan elections be repeated and has alleged “serious irregularities”, the candidacy reports this Saturday.

In separate complaints to the four Catalan Provincial Electoral Boards (JEP), collected by Europa Press, he alleges that “the rights of voters have been violated.”

For this reason, he asks “to suspend the proclamation of the results until this vote is repeated again.”

In the complaint to the Barcelona Board, it states that there are “1,922 uncounted votes (not entered into the ballot box and destroyed)” corresponding to the Cera vote from Girona, with a total of 17,384 voters in this constituency.

Therefore, “the total of uncounted votes (1,922) corresponds to 11.05% of the total Cera votes received in Barcelona.”

For Junts, “this inexplicable percentage includes the votes that were destroyed before entering the ballot box” and this destruction of votes cast was hasty and violated the rights of voters and candidates because it did not respect the passage of the legal challenge deadlines.

He tells the Lleida Board that there are 320 uncounted votes (not entered into the ballot box and destroyed) corresponding to the Cera vote from Girona with a total of 1,703 voters in this constituency.

Therefore, it is considered that the total number of votes not counted (320) corresponds to 18.8% of the total Cera votes received in Girona.

As in the complaint to Barcelona, ??it states that “this inexplicable percentage includes the votes that were destroyed before entering the ballot box” and this destruction of votes cast was hasty and violated rights.

TARRAGONA

Regarding Tarragona, he states that Junts asked him for the total vote data reached by the Board but “the response has been that it would be a data that would be given on Monday”, which the candidacy calls inadmissible and defenseless because the deadlines would have expired. of complaint.

“This JEP had this information since the beginning of the Cera account, like all the rest of the JEPs, and it did not provide it by abusing the right,” he says, adding that it is the only demarcation that has not yet provided it.
