MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, has celebrated the entry of the first humanitarian aid trucks into the Gaza Strip and has asked to guarantee basic services such as water and electricity for the population of the enclave.

This was expressed in a message on his profile on the social network last October 7th.

Through this step, the entry of humanitarian aid is taking place, to which Albares has asked to add the guarantee of access to water and electricity, as well as demanding to “protect the Palestinian civilian population.”

The head of Spanish diplomacy has also assured that Spain will continue to increase its humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip through the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
