The Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid has alerted the National Police this Wednesday after recording an explosion that has injured a delegation worker while handling a letter, police sources have informed Europa Press.
The worker is slightly injured and has moved by his own means to the Hospital Nuestra Señora de América, on Calle Arturo Soria in Madrid.
The notice to the National Police Room for the explosion was registered at 1:15 p.m., activating a device at the Embassy located at Ronda de la Abubilla, number 52, made up of Tedax specialists and canine guides.
The letter, according to other sources, had not been detected by the private surveillance service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid.
