MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Vox wants the leader of the Brothers of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, to be able to lead a “sensible, reasonable and prudent” government despite the difficulties she is encountering in forming a coalition Executive after winning the elections held on September 24.
At a press conference, the Vox spokesman in Congress, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, has recognized that Italy is one of the countries that is mired in a moment of “uncertainty”, to which is added its complex political system.
However, he hopes that it will lead to a “sensible, reasonable, prudent” government led by Meloni, an international partner of Vox who has even participated in several of its public events, such as recently in the Viva22 held in Madrid, although on video from Rome.
Espinosa de los Monteros has recognized that coalition governments are always “more complex” than those that have an absolute majority, but has insisted on his desire that Meloni “rule soon” and “demonstrate that such a complex country can be governed with common sense, reasonable and sensible ideas”.
The leader of the Brothers of Italy said this Friday that she is “ready” to form a government, after a meeting with the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, in which she confirmed that she has the “unanimous” support of the tripartite coalition of rights.
