Rayo Vallecano aggravated Elche’s poor start to the 2022-2023 LaLiga Santander season by defeating them 2-1 this Monday, thanks to a great goal by Unai López in the 95th minute, in the match that closed the seventh day of the championship.
The red-and-red team had to wait for the final stages to seal their second consecutive victory in Vallecas and put some distance, with ten points, on a descent in which the man from Elche is still mired, who still continues without knowing the victory and remains bottom with just one point.
