The Armed Forces of Ukraine assure that Russia is preparing a major attack on Sloviansk in Donbas

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have assured this Monday that Russia is preparing for a large-scale attack around the Ukrainian city of Sloviansk, located in the Donbas region.

The General Staff of the Army of Ukraine has indicated in a message posted on its account in the social network Facebook that Russian troops are moving new units from Izium and Liman.

Sloviansk is the base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbas region and if Russia takes this city it would be a major turning point in the war.

Likewise, the area between Severodonetsk and Lisichansk remains the focus of Russian efforts in Donbas.

The President of the Russian Republic of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced on Saturday the seizure of the Ukrainian town of Severodonetsk by Russian forces deployed in Ukraine.
