MADRID, 24 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
EDP ??Renewables has entered into an industrial agreement with Lhyfe to jointly identify, develop, build and manage projects in the production of renewable hydrogen, as reported by both parties.
Under the agreement, EDPR will supply renewable electricity to Lhyfe’s hydrogen generation projects.
In addition, the two companies will identify opportunities for the co-development of projects, with an EDPR participation that could reach up to 50% of their capital.
The companies will also collaborate in R&D activities, development of new projects and equipment supply.
This agreement, as explained, aims to create value by leveraging the synergies of the complementary skills and capabilities of the two companies, driving the growth of EDPR’s portfolio, especially in France, and contributing to the development of Lhyfe’s projects around the world.
It also contributes to achieving greater operational and commercial experience in renewable hydrogen projects.
