At least two people have died and more than 40 have been injured by the passage of a tornado in the town of Gaylord, in northern Michigan, in the United States.
As reported this Saturday by the NBC television network, the Michigan Police have confirmed the death of two people and explained that 44 people have been transferred to various hospitals in northern Michigan.
Likewise, local authorities have reported that a person has been missing since the Friday that the tornado originated.
The National Weather Service has warned that the tornado has hit the city of Gaylord, about 230 miles north of Detroit, causing severe damage.
For her part, Governor Gretchen Whitmer has established a state of emergency and has stressed in a statement that an undetermined number of houses, businesses and power lines have been damaged.
