The automotive group manufactures on its site of Poissy, the heart of the respirators that will then be delivered to hospitals to help the sick of the Covid-19.
The respirators have replaced the cars in the factory in Poissy (Yvelines) of the PSA group. The site typically produces 300 small 4×4 luxurious urban DS3 Crossback per day. Since the beginning of the health crisis, the rows are arrested, and a hundred employee volunteers are actively involved in the manufacturing of the heart of the respirators for the French hospitals.

Valves, but also joints, reducers, solenoid valves, gears, springs, flexible hoses : approximately 140 plastic parts, aluminium and brass must find their place, at the end of eight assembly lines in parallel.

The workshop should go up a little at a cadence, the goal being to go out 300 blocks per day. The units produced will go for a final assembly in Antony (Hauts-de-Seine).
