A young escapee from the prison of Meaux, which was not returned after a leave of absence, has decided to toquer to the doors of the prison of Bethune: he saw that he could attend a training.

This is a little of his good resolution to him: Alexander Dilmi, a young Wattrelosien (North) for 26 years, has decided to finish with a run long of 17 months and return to the fold : the prison. Why? For training, simply, reports The Voice of the North.

The story begins on August 2, 2015. The man gets a leave for two days to go and see his mother who is ill. Wishing to stay by his side any longer, he decides not to return to the cell. It stays hidden, aided by his family, and manages to spend the holidays of end of the year with her own people.

But the confinement starts to burden him. He can not move freely, at the risk of being recognized and getting arrested. Too bad he decides to go. But not in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne), where he was imprisoned, no, in Béthune (North). “I’m not filled in on the Internet on what it was like training. To Bethune, there are of masonry and electricity, it interests me”, he justified, reports The Voice of the North.

18 months of imprisonment

An action that deserves leniency? Not so much for justice, which considers that the correct resolution of Alexandre Dilmin’take anything away from his escape. “This is the only positive factor of the file (…) because it reflects a behavior immature,” said the prosecutor of the Republic, cited by the Voice of The North. For his part, his lawyer has tried to remember that his client had been incarcerated since the age of 19 years and that he had escaped to be with his mother, convalescent, welcoming, even “awareness” of the young man.
