A total of 137 companies have been certified as ‘Top Employers Spain’ for being the best employers, that is, the companies “most outstanding in their people practices”, as highlighted by the organization in a statement.

Specifically, the certification program encompasses six domains that cover all aspects of Human Resources, divided into 20 different topics, such as people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, leadership, diversity, equity and inclusion and well-being , among others.

By participating in the program, companies verify and align their Human Resources practices with the best practices in the sector.

The Regional Director of Top Employers Institute in Spain and Italy, Massimo Begelle, has commented that “in this global environment of profound financial, technological and political transformations, ‘Top Employers’ companies are acting within a framework of purpose, reflection and above all ethics.

The 137 ‘Top Employers’ companies in Spain in this edition belong to sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automobiles, technology, insurance, consumer goods, energy or banking.

These companies, which have an average of 5,200 employees nationally and 86,700 globally, operate on average in 54 countries.

In addition, 13 of the ‘Top Employers Spain’ companies are part of the group of 17 companies certified as ‘Top Employers Global’, a recognition received by companies that have certification in a combination of different countries and continents.

In total, in this edition, more than 2,300 organizations in 121 countries or regions have been certified.
