MADRID, 23 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Enerside Energy has closed the sale to Chint Solar Europe of the Palmadula project, which with 400 megawatts (MW) -360 MWp photovoltaic and 40 MW of storage- is one of the main agrivoltaic projects under development in Italy, reported the company listed on the BME Growth.

The agreement was signed last December, with the closing of the transaction materializing on April 19, after compliance with all the usual precedent conditions in this type of operations.

Enerside has received €7.2 million for the project to date and will continue to receive payments for the transaction as the project reaches development milestones until the ‘ready to build’ date.

Located in the north of the island of Sardinia, the project combines photovoltaic and BESS (battery) installations, as well as crop and sheep grazing areas.

Last November, the company presented the project to the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MAES), and estimates that it can reach ‘ready-to-build’ in 2025.

This is the company’s third transaction in recent years, totaling almost 700 MW sold in Italy and Brazil. The company continues with its asset rotation plan announced in 2023 as an integral part of the Impulsa Plan, which had a target of income from asset sales of more than 50 million euros in the next two years.

With this transaction, the company indicated that it continues to increase its visibility on this guide and on the execution of its business plan, reinforcing its strategy as a developer in Italy, where it has more than 2 gigawatts (GW) of projects in different phases of development.
