The Israeli Army has announced that, as part of its incursions into the Gaza Strip, it has managed to rescue two Israelis who had been taken hostage after the attack by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) on October 7, 2023.

The two hostages – identified as Fernando Simon Marman, 60, and Louis Har, 70 – are in good health and have been transferred to health centers for more precise medical examinations.

The release took place in a joint operation by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the National Security and Intelligence Service (Shin Bet) and the Police. “The security forces will continue working by all possible means to recover the kidnapped people,” reads a statement.
