MADRID, 22 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Nory, an operating system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the hospitality sector, closed this Wednesday a financing round of 15 million euros led by the American venture capital fund Accel, in addition to the participation of Samaipata, Cavalry, Playfair and Triplepoint.

The company has detailed in a press release that this new injection of capital, which brings the total raised to 24 million euros, will be used to accelerate the development of the platform and boost its international expansion.

The entity’s business object consists of an AI-powered platform that allows operational data to be centralized in a single source, providing owners and hoteliers with a complete view of the functioning of their business.

In this sense, the ‘software’ allows, for example, to predict the hourly demand of each establishment based on the analysis of historical data combined with AI algorithms that take into account seasonal trends, real-time meteorological data and even local events, allowing Thus, restaurants and cafes can optimize personnel management.

The platform also integrates this type of predictions with other workflows, such as optimizing supplier orders and inventory management, with the aim of reducing costs.

The founder and CEO of Nory, Conor Sheridan, has framed that hospitality requires technology that “provides real control over the business and profitability.”

For his part, Accel partner Luca Bocchio has explained his investment commitment in Nory on the basis that the sector “continues to be poorly digitized” and that restaurants are under “constant pressure” to improve their operational efficiency and productivity. .

In a similar vein, the founding partner of Samaipata, José del Barrio, has argued that Nory’s value proposition is “very attractive”, since restaurants “need a solution like Nory’s” to reduce operating costs, optimize processes and automate tasks.
