BARCELONA, 19 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Junts candidate for the Catalan elections, Carles Puigdemont, asked this Friday the PSC candidate, Salvador Illa, if he would be willing to reject and stand before a General State Budget (PGE) that does not reverse the “excess investment” in Madrid.

“Is Illa in a position to say that we must stand before Madrid and vote ‘no’ to budgets that perpetuate the Catalans’ money to stop expanding the pockets of those in Madrid?” he asked in a telematic statement under the title ‘Catalonia needs to be respected’, accompanied by the party’s general secretary, Jordi Turull, and the spokesperson in Congress, Míriam Nogueras.

Puigdemont has assured that Junts will not support PGE that prolongs this “serious injustice”, and has called on Illa to answer his question.
