Madrid, January 22, 2024.- Repair your Debt Abogados, a leading law firm in Spain in the processing of the Second Chance Law, has achieved a new debt cancellation in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). Through the management of Repara tu Deuda Abogados, the Commercial Court No. 17 of Madrid has issued the Benefit of Exoneration of Unsatisfied Liabilities (BEPI) in the case of a woman who had accumulated a debt of 41,000 euros that she could not meet . SEE JUDGMENTAs the lawyers of Repara tu Deuda explain, “his state of insolvency originated when he requested loans to cover the credit cards he already had. When he lost his job, he had to request more financing to cover financial expenses and his personal expenses. However, the period of job instability meant that he could not assume his debts. According to Repair Your Debt, Spain approved the Second Chance Law in 2015. Previously, the European Commission had made a Recommendation for put in place this debt cancellation mechanism, planned so that insolvent people would not have to carry unaffordable payments for life. There are still some people who are unaware of the existence of this legal mechanism. Approved more than eight years ago, some individuals and self-employed workers believed that the process was more complex than it really turns out to be. The fact that many of those exonerated decide to talk to family members and acquaintances explaining their process, makes them come forward to be interested and decide to start it. Repara tu Deuda was founded in September of the same year 2015. Since then, it has managed to exceed the figure of 180 million euros of debt canceled to people who come from the different autonomous communities of Spain. The forecast is that this amount will continue to increase because there are many procedures that are being carried out and whose results are presumed positive. This legislation protects individuals and the self-employed by exempting them from paying their debts if they are in a current or imminent state of insolvency, have acted in good faith throughout the duration of the process and have not been convicted of socioeconomic crimes in the last ten years. The firm also alternatively analyzes the contracts signed with banks and financial entities. In this sense, the objective is to check if there are abusive clauses for the cancellation of credit cards, revolving cards, mini-credits, loans and mortgages and to be able to claim from Cofidis, Moneyman, WiZink, Carrefour, Vivus, Banco Santander, CaixaBank, BBVA, Banco Sabadell, myKredit, Kviku, etc. Issuer: Repair your Debt Lawyers
