The 10-year-old boy who disappeared along with other members of his family when his car fell into the Alberche river last night, in the town of Aldea del Fresno, a spokesperson for the Community of Madrid 112 Emergencies reported this morning.

The minor was found at 8 a.m. this Monday perched on a tree. The emergency services and the Local Police continue to work in the search for the other missing person, the father of the minor.

Sources from the Ministry of Health have pointed out to Europa Press that all the resources have been mobilized to transfer the minor to the Rey Juan Carlos University Hospital, in Móstoles, for a more exhaustive review and care. Initially, the child presents symptoms of hypothermia and injuries from blows.

The vehicle fell into the river as a result of the strong waterspout, which has demolished several bridges in the town. Yesterday they also found her mother and her sister, who appeared last night and who were treated by health workers from Summa-112. Both were transferred to the Rey Juan Carlos Hospital in Madrid.

The car plunged into the river yesterday at kilometer 18 of the M-507. The accesses to the Madrid municipality through this highway and the M-510 have been cut off since dawn due to the isolated depression at high levels (DANA).

The storm has especially affected the southwestern area of ??the Community of Madrid, most interventions have occurred in the municipalities near Aldea del Fresno, such as Villa del Prado or Villamantina, where numerous floods have been recorded in homes and streets. The forecast is that it will continue to rain in the area until early in the morning.

The Firefighters have carried out a total of 1,481 interventions as a result of the DANA and have managed more than 1,200 files related to the storm from 2:00 p.m. this Sunday to 7:00 a.m. this Monday.
