Created twenty years ago, the network of 60 agencies was able to combine its franchisees to its development and its success.
“The collaboration, it is the very heart of the life of the network”, says Clear the Ring, founder of Babychou Services. We get forty applications per month: from the first interview, I make sure that our future franchisees to adhere to this collaborative culture.” A state of mind shared by the 40 franchisees* of the network, “which are meant to lead by example and be the drivers on some topics, new techniques of recruitment, for example”.
All play a key role: they can get involved in one of the three standing committees (communication, price, payroll) or in one of the three working groups set up to celebrate the twenty years of teaching (communication of twenty years, animation of the community Babychou and organization of the convention). Each of these committees is made and animated by six to eight franchisees: “beyond that, it becomes difficult to move forward,” says Clear the Ring, which has found a correlation between the results of the franchisees and their implications in these instances, participatory or in training programs.

Babychou Services has developed a wide range of training courses, with courses, “job”, but also “a lot of development person”. “Our franchisees are involved in the provision of service to parents, rightfully demanding,” says Clear the Ring. They must be reassured, but also, sometimes the crop: when a mother asks us for a baby-sitter available all night, speaking six languages and playing the cello with their feet, our franchisees must learn to say no.” The teaches also in the recruitment of babysitters (each agency has around one hundred stakeholders) and the exploitation of their personal network. “Ex-colleagues, friends, local shopkeepers, health professionals are our best prescribers. We help the franchisees to talk about their business to capture new customers.”

The sign mobilizes important resources in the animation of its network with a dedicated team of three persons, shared services (customer data base, platform, HR and payroll management, communication campaigns), an intranet, a quarterly newsletter, thematic meetings in the regions and two national conventions each year. In 2018, Babychou Services will put in place ambassadors region on the principle “All together, we are stronger, we are going faster”. They will have the task to coordinate the communication actions at a local level and facilitate the sharing of good practices. But to Clear the Ring, the greatest strength of the network is to have managed to imbue “an energy participatory fact that the franchisees in the business are happy to welcome and assist the new.”
