Bottoms shared her first interaction with crypto, which occurred after a ransomware attack on Fulton County in early 2024. She expressed her commitment to understanding the crypto industry and working towards effective regulation that benefits everyone.

In addition to her upcoming role in Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, Bottoms has been a member of Coinbase’s Global Advisory Council since April. She plans to continue in this role while working with the Biden campaign.

Bottoms’ background includes serving as the Director of the Office of Public Engagement and as the President’s Senior Adviser during the Biden administration. She was also the mayor of Atlanta from 2018 to 2022.
