So can norwegians save 4,25 billion in interest expense As senterpartileder I have given is a clear call to the Norwegian people: Buy Norwegian and local as often as you can!
This seems to provoke a columnist Earl Wåge. In Dagbladet 18. may accuses him me for the “local populism”. It seems that Wåge believes that it is indifferent whether we buy langreist and foreign or Norwegian and locally. Here is Wåge and I obviously disagree.
I think it means something what each and every one of us do. At the same time, the Parliament and the government a surefire responsibility to save and create as many jobs as possible throughout the country. Whether it is us as individuals or Norwegian elected officials, we can help to save Norwegian jobs through the request of Norwegian goods and services.
Wåge doesn’t seem to like the tone and the themes that were brought out in the debate in the political quarter on Friday. He writes with disdain that “We heard about industriarbeidarar here, fiskeforedlarar there. About local cheese and English ham”.
Out against the government’s preparedness: – Naive and historieløst
As elected in the Uk I have an obvious mission: To work for the people in Norway are getting better and safer life. The most useful I can do, is to listen to people’s wisdom. I have something to learn from every person I meet. Each and every one of us know, of course, the best is what provides the peace of mind or turmoil and concern in our lives, all politics is ultimately local.
As a Norwegian elected I must attend to Norwegian interests and help to create more Norwegian workplaces. To create more industriarbeidsplasser, it is obvious that we must take the lesson of the Norwegian industriarbeideres experiences.
In the efforts to ensure national ownership to the Norwegian fish and fishing quotas, and to ensure the greatest possible local impact from the fish, we must of course make use of the experience of the Norwegian fishermen. To be able to develop more jobs in the Norway’s largest fastlandsindustri, the food industry, it is obviously important to both learn from people in the statistics cover a sample and to request the Norwegian cheese and ham.
Wåge refers to the fact that I’m concerned of the nation-state. He has quite right. The Norwegian nation state, where we lift each other in the community, has been a historic success. We have secured national ownership of our natural resources, whether it is dining, oil and gas, forest, earth, and the fish. We have used our natural resources to build industry, which has given us values and the welfare of ordinary people, not just a privileged elite, have been given the pleasure of.

I am convinced that we get the best development of our country when the country’s leaders are directly accountable to the people who have elected them. Decisions that will determine Norway’s future, to be taken in Norway. And if the country’s leaders do a bad job, they could be thrown at the next election. How it works our national government by the people – in contrast to the bureaucracy of the EUROPEAN union.
Wåge has, with or without the will, misunderstood me on two central areas. I don’t think Norway is self-sufficient with food. On the contrary! Norway should, however, increase the selvforsyningen. Corrected for import of feed, we produce the energy levels in the day, only 40 % of what we eat. It would both strengthened Norwegian production and emergency preparedness, and created more jobs throughout the country, if we increased our food production. In addition, we should as soon as possible establish a national inventory that foods.
Wåge warn that the Uk will be left without trade agreements. It should we rather not. Norway has entered into trade agreements with countries all over the world. The centre party will stop, however, is the ever-increasing avgivelsen of power from Norway to the EU-system the people of Norway twice has said no to be a part of.
