BARCELONA, 26 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The player Ferran Jutglà has confirmed on social networks that he is leaving FC Barcelona, ??upon reaching the end of his contract on June 30 and not exercising the renewal clause after opting, with the approval of the Blaugraa club, to “consolidate his career ” away from the Camp Nou, to which he would like to return “in two or three seasons.”

“Football takes many turns, and of course I leave the door open to return in the future to wear a shirt as important as Barça’s, in two or three seasons. See you soon, culés”, Jutglà said goodbye in an open letter in their social networks.

Ferran Jutglà arrived at FC Barcelona in the summer of 2021 from the RCD Espanyol subsidiary to play for the Blaugrana subsidiary, with 19 goals and 6 assists in the First RFEF. In addition, due to injuries to teammates, he played 8 games with the first team, 6 of them in LaLiga Santander with 1 goal, scored against Elche at the Camp Nou.

“Once the championship is over and immersed in days of great tension, information, speculation and at the same time of uncertainty and hope, I write these lines to infinitely thank the Barcelona family for giving me the opportunity to grow as a footballer. It has allowed me to fulfill a dream and it has been a very important step in my career”, he assured in his letter.

He acknowledged that “various scenarios” were raised, such as the option of continuing one more season at FC Barcelona (he had a clause in his contract to do so) and also that of being able to join another project, with the idea of ??”consolidating” his career , option that finally is the good one.

“In this sense, I take this opportunity to thank the sports management and the Board of Directors for having taken my wish into account,” assured the Catalan striker from Sant Julià de Vilatorta, whose immediate future could be with Bruges in the league Belgian.
