MADRID, 27 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Jupol union has shown its outrage at the approval by the Council of Ministers of a credit transfer of 49 million euros for the retirement of Mossos d’Esquadra and the Navarre Provincial Police.
And it is that in his opinion, with this decision the Executive is walking “in the opposite direction to the salary equality of the State Security Forces and Corps with the regional police.”
For the police union, this measure “increases the differences” between the different bodies and supposes “a new lack of respect” from this Government to the National Police and Civil Guard.
The general secretary of Jupol, Aarón Rivero, has denounced that it represents a “genuine lack of shame on the part of the Executive”, which in his opinion “is sold to the pro-independence parties, to whom it grants without question any claim with the sole objective of preserving its armchairs in the Government”.
Rivero has stated that today the difference between the payroll of a National Police officer and a Mosso d’Esquadra is about 600 euros per month. An amount that he ensures “increases up to 900 euros in the case of retired or pre-retired agents.”
For his part, the spokesman for the police union, Pablo Pérez, has shown discomfort with this announcement by the executive, with which he assures that “the only thing that is achieved is to increase the salary gaps between the State Security Forces and Bodies and the regional police “.
