Real Madrid will come out with their gala eleven, except for the absence of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, in this Sunday’s Clasico at the Santiago Bernabéu (4:15 p.m.), while FC Barcelona dispenses with Gavi in ??midfield to give entrance to Frenkie de Jong, with Sergi Roberto on the right side and Jules Kunde in central.
Regarding last Tuesday’s starting line-up in ‘Champions’ against Shakhtar Donetsk, full-back Dani Carvajal returns to right-back, Brazilian Eder Militao and Austrian David Alaba as central pair, Croatian Luka Modric to the engine room and the Brazilian Vinícius to the attacking line. Meanwhile, the Brazilian Rodrygo Goes and the German Antonio Rüdiger will start on the bench.
Thus, Carlo Ancelotti’s men will form with the Ukrainian Andriy Lunin in goal; Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, David Alaba and Ferland Mendy in defense, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in midfield; and Fede Valverde, Vinícius and Karim Benzema up front.
Meanwhile, Xavi has decided to seat Gavi to bring in De Jong, in a line-up in which Sergi Roberto will be in charge of trying to stop Vinícius on the right side and in which Jules Kounde returns to the eleven directly after receiving medical discharge of your injury.
The Blues will form with Marc-André Ter Stegen under sticks; Sergi Roberto, Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia and Alexander Balde on the defensive line; Sergio Busquets, Pedri and Frenkie de Jong in midfield; and Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski above.
