BURGOS, 27 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Defense Minister, Margarita Robles, acknowledged this Thursday that NATO is “very concerned” about the exercises of Russia’s nuclear deterrence forces that were supervised by Vladimir Putin himself, whom he has described as “a danger to the humanity”.

“Putin is a danger to humanity and with these maneuvers all of NATO is very concerned,” said the minister after participating in a meeting with women at a cultural center in Fuentespina (Burgos).

These are exercises by the Russian nuclear deterrence forces in which a “massive” attack was rehearsed that, according to the Kremlin, would occur in response to a hypothetical external aggression and that involved movements by land, sea and air.

This same Wednesday, Robles had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksii Reznikov, in which he anticipated new arms shipments to Ukraine. The minister assured that it was the Ukrainian minister who took the initiative of the call to thank Spain for its collaboration and took the opportunity to invite the Spanish authorities to visit Ukraine.

As Robles recalled, Defense has already coordinated shipments of humanitarian material, weapons “so that they can defend themselves against Russian attacks” or electric generators.
