The spokeswoman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zajarova, has assured that the constant praise from the West to the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelensky, has created “a monster” of which a large part of the international powers “are getting tired”.
“Everyone in the West is already tired of Zelensky. In a nutshell: He’s already done it with everyone, he’s tired of them. There are people who are intrusive to the point of toothache simply because they force you not to forget about some matter,” Zajarova said in an interview for Rutube collected by TASS.
At this point, the Russian official has stressed that the Western powers are aware that the “monster” they have created with Zelensky is beginning to “devour” them.
In addition, he has conveyed his idea that the Ukrainian president thought at some point that the West would “cancel” anyone he pointed out.
For these reasons, the spokeswoman for the diplomatic portfolio has accused Zelenski of having built “his own invented world” and that his delusions of grandeur lead him to think that he “governs the world.”
