The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the First Vice President and Minister of Economic Affairs, Nadia Calviño, met this Friday in Madrid with the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, to discuss issues such as climate change or the energy model.

Gates, retired from the management of Microsoft, is mainly dedicated to philanthropy through the Gates Foundation and has spoken with Sánchez about health, energy, climate change and food security, according to what the President of the Government has published on Twitter.

“Faced with the great global challenges, we must articulate ambitious responses with an inclusive approach and maximum cooperation,” Sánchez assured in his profile on the social network.

In images published in this profile, Sánchez can be seen talking to Gates with the billionaire’s latest book ‘How to avoid the next pandemic’ on the table.

For his part, Calviño held a meeting with the businessman in which both teams were present.
