In the midst of a recent drop in the crypto market prices, the sales volume of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) has decreased by 6% to $84.6 million. Despite some signs of positivity in the crypto market, all gains seem to have vanished. Data from CoinMarketCap shows that the global crypto market cap has fallen by 1.39% to $2.31 trillion.

Last week, NFT sales volume was at $89.1 million, but recent data from CryptoSlam reveals a 6% decline. Ethereum blockchain remains at the top with $28.3 million in sales, while Solana holds onto its second position for two consecutive weeks. The number of NFT buyers has increased by 21%, and the number of sellers also rose by 30% compared to last week.

Ethereum’s NFT sales dropped by over 6.6%, falling from $31.1 million to $28.3 million. The number of buyers on the Ethereum blockchain increased by 17.4% to 56,021. Solana, despite a 11.3% decrease in the past week, maintained its second position with a sales volume of $16.1 million and a rise in buyers by 27.7% to 385,272.

Bitcoin experienced the smallest sales drop at 2.78%, totaling $14.12 million. Mythos Chain and Immutable followed with sales volumes of $10.9 million and $6.2 million, respectively. Ethereum accounted for the majority of wash trading at $3.66 million.

DMarket remained at the top with a sales volume of $5.744 million, despite an 11.62% decrease. Guild of Guardians Heroes 2 secured the second spot with $3.28 million in sales.

The top NFT sales in the last week, according to CryptoSlam, include Wrapped Ether Rock #91 and #59 selling for 120,000 and 119,000 USDC, respectively. CryptoPunks #705 sold for 30.5 ETH, Sorare #23580937173 sold for 21.888 ETH, and ART BLOCK #9 sold for 0.7839 BTC.

Overall, the NFT market has seen fluctuations amidst the broader crypto market trends, with Ethereum and Solana maintaining their positions at the top of the sales volume rankings. Despite some declines, the NFT space continues to attract buyers and sellers, indicating ongoing interest in digital collectibles.
