The private capital association SpainCap, previously known as Ascri, has recognized Seaya Ventures in its private capital awards in Spain in the category of best venture capital operation for its participation in Wallbox.
SpainCap has explained in a statement that prizes are awarded in different categories to those private capital entities, based in Spain and members of SpainCap, that have divested any of their holdings in companies between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022 .
Thus, Capza has been awarded in the category of best ‘direct lending’ operation for its participation in Aspy; EQT, in the best large operation for its participation in Igenomix; and Queka Real Partners, in the best expansion capital operation for its participation in STI Norland.
Added to these are Artá ??Capital, awarded for the best ESG initiative for its participation in Satlink and Maite Ballester, which has been recognized in the category of women in private capital, while Enisa has won the honorary award.
“The venture capital and private equity industry continues to support its investees and boost the economy. Record investment figures have been recorded for the second consecutive year and everything indicates that this year will also be exceptional. There are more and more success stories in our sector and these awards prove it every year”, highlighted the newly appointed president of SpainCap, Oriol Pinya.
The jury responsible for selecting the winners was made up of a prestigious panel of experts made up of eleven professionals.
