The Sims 4 Adds Free, Battle Pass-Style Events
The Sims 4 players have something new to look forward to as EA announces the addition of limited-time events to the popular simulation game. These events will reward players with free items, traits, and more simply for logging in daily. Font, a senior game designer on The Sims 4, shared that the focus of these new events is to provide “new opportunities to your game.”
The first event, The Sims 4 Happy at Home Login Event, has already begun and will run for four weeks. Players can expect a range of items to help create a comfortable hangout space for their Sims, along with the Practice Makes Perfect trait, which accelerates skill learning. Unlike the game’s usual paid DLC, all items included in these events are completely free for players to enjoy. The only requirement is to engage with the event, whether through logging in or completing specific goals. Font also assured latecomers that there is plenty of time to catch up on rewards, with each day of logging in counting towards unlocking the next available reward.
