+ 50 cents for cigarettes

A new increase in the tax on tobacco will raise the price of the packs of cigarettes on Friday 1st march. Originally planned for 1 April, it has been advanced a month in the framework of the Budget of 2019. Result: an increase in rates to provide for approximately 50 cents on average for a packet of 20 cigarettes.

The objective of the government is to raise the average price of a packet of around 10€ the end of 2020.
