Ubi i/o, successor to the French Tech Tour, which at the end of seven editions has assisted close to 100 startups in the Silicon Valley. What about the eight startups?
The happy selected are nuggets promising. Their creators had to convince a jury made up of 16 personalities “ruthless”, investors and entrepreneurs, americans. Forty candidates at the outset, twenty-five in the short list, and eight at the finish. The selection process, which lasted three and a half months, has been highly controlled by Bpifrance Business France anxious to find candidates with a very strong commitment to the boss or co-founder must be undertaken from 10 weeks, and “let go” of its French teams all this time and being in a good timing for their development. Adways, created in 2010 by Fabrice Jaeger and Como Fouques. This startup offers a unique platform to create interactive videos. The goal of the startup is already present in the US for 4 months : install the marketing and sales in San Francisco … and keep the R&D in Lyon, france. Evercontact flagship product of the startup Kwaga, launched in 2009 by Philippe Laval, a serial entrepreneur (Sinequa, semantic search engine). Evercontact is a SaaS solution to update the address books (Outlook, Gmail,…) and CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics …). The company is based in Paris has multiplied its turnover by ten in three years and made 80% to the export. Go on-site will enable us to establish or enhance commercial partnerships and/or technology with the major players in the us. Giroptic , the startup created by Richard Ollier, is specialized in the technology of capture audio-visual 360°. It has card stock with the 360cam first camera HD 360°, a project that had become the biggest French success done on the platform Kickstarter with more than $ 1.4 million generated by the 4000 preorders. Goal : to go to the meeting of the american market, consumers and professionals. Jarvis Lawyers : a SaaS solution for managing web and mobile lawyers, already distributed by Dalloz in 12 countries. The startup, founded in 2011 by Alexander Yérémian – another serial entrepreneur (Integral Microphone) – and Anthony Yérémian, target the law firms of independent americans : a potential of a million of licenses to revenue of $ 660 million. Not counting the corporate customers of lawyers … The american market is a dream ! Pradeo is in the mainstream “Appsberg syndrom”. The startup is a publisher of security solutions for smartphones, tablets and connected objects created after 6 years of R&D. It is Stéphane Saad, co-founder with Clément Saad and director of business development to the international one, which will go to San Francisco. The platform launched by Pradeo, AuditMyApps, allows companies to check that their mobile fleet is secure (data theft, phone tapping …), like the Post with the smartphones of factors ! American target : meet with technology partners, size. SensioLabs founded in 1998 by serial entrepreneur Fabien Potencier, the original developer of the project of the project Symphony, framework Web the most used by the companies.
