MADRID, 11 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ukrainian authorities have indicated this Friday, for the first time since the start of the war on February 24, that the Ukrainian Army has lost approximately 10,000 soldiers as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The advisor to the Ukrainian Presidency, Alexei Arestovich, has detailed that at the beginning of the conflict there were an average of 100 deaths per day and that around 10,000 soldiers had lost their lives since the conflict began, as he stated in an interview in the Fegin Live program and later picked up the Ukrainian newspaper ‘TCH’.
Arestivich has criticized the slowness of the Western allies in terms of sending weapons: “If we had three times more funds for the same artillery, we would have solved the problems with these terrible Russian offensives in all these terrible places very quickly and effectively. “Arestovich stressed.
“The Russian Army had losses of 1,000 soldiers a day during the first 20-30 days. Now between 200 and 300 die,” the spokesman explained. Also, Arestovich has added that the losses in the front fluctuate continuously.
