The Armed Forces of Ukraine have estimated this Thursday at “about 29,600” the number of Russian soldiers since the beginning of the invasion launched on February 24 by order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, a balance that includes the death of 150 soldiers during the last 24 hours.

The General Staff of the Army of Ukraine has indicated in a message on its account on the social network Facebook that 1,315 battle tanks, 617 artillery systems and 201 multiple self-propelled and armored rocket launchers have been destroyed so far.

Thus, it has highlighted that 206 planes, 170 helicopters, 93 anti-aircraft defense systems, 2,225 vehicles and fuel tanks, thirteen boats and 502 drones have also been destroyed, while 114 cruise missiles have been shot down.

“The Russian enemy suffered the greatest losses during the last day in the Avdiivka direction,” he said. “The data is being updated. Hit the occupier. Let’s win together. Our strength is in the truth”, he has riveted.

On the other hand, he stated that “the Russian enemy does not stop carrying out offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone and continues to launch missiles and bombardments against infrastructure in Ukraine”, before adding that Belarus continues to carry out “mobilization exercises” in the Volyn and Polissia areas”.

“The probability of missile attacks and shelling from the territory of this country (Belarus) continues,” he warned, before highlighting that “the consequences of the deployment of units of the Russian Armed Forces involved in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine in the territory of Belarus are being eliminated”.

Thus, he stressed that “the Russian enemy is trying to improve the tactical situation in the Izium area and restart the offensive in the city of Sloviansk” and added that “in the direction of Donetsk, the main efforts of the Russian enemy are focused on taking full control of Liman and try to improve the tactical situation near Severodonetsk and Avdiivka”.

“The fighting continues in the direction of Bakhmut. The Russian enemy has unsuccessfully attempted an offensive in the Komishuvaja, Lipovo and Nagirni districts,” he detailed, while stating that Russian forces “attempted an offensive in the settlement area of Zolota Niva, although they withdrew with losses”.

Finally, he pointed out that “the Russian enemy is trying to improve the tactical situation and guarantee access to the administrative borders of the Kherson region”. “He carried out assault operations in the Tavriyske settlement area, although it was unsuccessful,” the Ukrainian Army General Staff added.
