MADRID, 11 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have stated that, so far this month, they have already “liberated” more than 3,000 square kilometers of the territory taken by Russian troops, the result of a counteroffensive that has the Kharkov region as its main focus.

The Ukrainian Army has released images that would account for the areas and equipment recovered in recent days, in which the president himself, Volodimir Zelenski, has confirmed progress on dozens of locations.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has recognized the withdrawal of its troops in some areas although, unlike kyiv, it does not attribute it to military defeats but to tactical reasons. Moscow, in fact, has reported this Sunday that its forces have managed to prevent the “enemy” from breaking through on one of the defense lines, according to the Interfax agency.
