MADRID, 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Vox spokesman in Congress, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, sarcastically assessed this Tuesday the next election of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, as the head of the Socialist International, has encouraged him to focus on that task because “Spain he is already too small” and has commented that “he is much loved abroad because they don’t know him”.
At a press conference in the Lower House, Espinosa de los Monteros ironically indicated that the Socialist International “has not been well attended in recent years” and that it now deserves “Sánchez’s full attention.”
In this context, he encouraged the general secretary of the PSOE to “devote himself full time to promoting socialism around the world.” “In the Socialist International there is a need for a strong, solid and recognized leadership, from a person of enormous prestige”, he has abounded, summoning Sánchez not to waste “time with minor issues such as Spain, which is already too small for him”.
