MADRID, 4 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, has promulgated this Tuesday the decree that collects the conclusions of the National Security and Defense Council held last Friday and that contemplates, among other issues, that it is “impossible” to open a process of negotiations with Russia to end the armed conflict.

The document focuses on the figure of Russian President Vladimir Putin, as Zelensky did last week, when he made it clear that there was no possibility of negotiating while the current president remained in the Kremlin. kyiv, on the other hand, is committed to continuing to tighten control and pressure measures on Moscow, according to the note released by the Presidency.

Ukraine’s security leadership claimed sovereignty and territorial integrity in writing as a result of Putin’s decision to annex four Ukrainian regions to Russia — Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia –, which also led Zelensky to request entry to NATO through a “fast track” procedure.
