MADRID, 11 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Ukraine’s President Volodimir Zelensky has stated that the country is preparing for a large-scale state reconstruction, following the invasion by Russian troops since February 24.
Despite the fact that “the battles are still going on”, the Ukrainian leader has assured – in his daily address to the citizens – that “they are preparing for a restoration” of the state “on a large scale”. Likewise, the president explained that the reconstruction has already begun in the liberated territory.
Likewise, Zelenski has criticized that “Russia wants to destroy all the cities of Donbas”. “Ukrainian troops are doing their best to end the occupiers’ offensive,” he added.
The Ukrainian president, who met this Friday with the British Defense Minister, Ben Wallace, has asked the British for help for the Ukrainian Army with the intention of “ending Russian aggression”.
“Now is the time for the Ukrainians to unite for the struggle they are carrying out,” Zelensky urged, to which he added that “this is not the time for the world to divert attention from what is happening in the battlefield”.
