The Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism has approved the regulatory bases and the management regime for aid to carry out digital transformation events. These subsidies have a maximum amount of 10,000 euros per event or project presented.
These contributions have the “strategic objective of contributing to the promotion and promotion of the digital transformation of the Valencian society and economy to undertake the transition towards the new digital economy model with guarantees, favoring the participation of entities, corporations, business and professional associations, as well as as well as the entire instrumental public sector of the Generalitat,” explains the regional administration in a statement.
The eligible expenses will be those related to the organization and delivery of the training activities, which in no case may be higher than the market value, as well as their dissemination. The following will be considered expenses: the provision of venues for holding the courses, the use of technological platforms for online training and the preparation of teaching materials intended exclusively for the event. Also academic fees and attendance expenses of teachers or speakers, among other things.
In order to be subsidized, the proposed events must meet the following requirements: a minimum duration of 8 hours; a budget equal to or greater than 1,000 euros and that the activities have at least 50 attendees for each of them.
With respect to the celebration of each event, it will be especially valued that there is continuity in its implementation, that previous editions have taken place within the Valencian Community and that it responds to one of the following themes: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Datacenter , Blockchain, Fintech, Digital Business and Metaverse. Score: 20 points.
This subsidy is compatible with other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same project, coming from any other public or private entity, national of the European Union or international organizations, provided that, individually or cumulatively, the cost of the subsidized activity.
