VALENCIA, 14 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The ‘president’ of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has announced that next month a decree-law will be approved to hire “more than 200 researchers immediately and without delay” in the Valencian Community.
In the control session in Les Corts, Mazón has opted to define a new legal framework for researchers in the Community that allows them to find more stability and security and better salaries.
It is something that has been linked to the delivery, this Thursday in Gandia (Valencia), of the 2023 National Research Awards with the assistance of Kings Felipe VI and Letizia.
On the other hand, the leader of the PPCV has criticized that the previous Botànic government announced “with great fanfare” a plan to repatriate researchers with which “they only managed to recruit 75” of the more than a thousand planned.
In addition, he has accused the Minister of Science and recently proclaimed new leader of the PSPV, Diana Morant, of “making research precarious” with state law.
“I just hope that you and Diana Morant won’t be the science deniers in the Valencian Community”, José Muñoz concluded in his reply to the PSPV trustee.
