Chainlink is all set to give a big boost to web3 innovation on Solana with the launch of a new startup program called Build on Solana. The main goal of this Chainlink program is to drive the adoption of the Solana network by providing support to web3 projects that are dedicated to building on the layer 1 blockchain. Build on Solana is specifically targeting teams that are using the Chainlink standard to create projects on Solana. The selected projects will receive valuable guidance from experts, technical mentorship, growth resources, and increased visibility in the market.
Sheth Sanket, who is the vice president of revenue & partnerships at Chainlink Labs, expressed his excitement about the Build on Solana program by stating, “With Build on Solana, we’re strengthening our partnership with the Solana ecosystem to assist teams in developing the next wave of onchain applications. We are offering the necessary infrastructure, resources, and community connections to help projects scale securely and reliably using Chainlink’s platform and Solana’s fast, composable network.” The collaboration between Chainlink and Solana is expected to bring about significant advancements in the web3 space.
Chainlink has established itself as a leading platform in the industry with numerous integrations and collaborations with a wide range of projects. The oracle network has partnered with various players in both the decentralized finance and traditional finance sectors. Prominent institutions like Fidelity International, ANZ Bank, and Swift have leveraged Chainlink’s technology for their operations. Additionally, DeFi platforms such as Aave, GMX, and Lido rely on Chainlink’s infrastructure for their services. Recently, on May 14, 2025, J.P. Morgan utilized Chainlink and Ondo Finance to facilitate its first cross-chain delivery versus payment transaction, showcasing the widespread adoption of Chainlink’s solutions across different industries.
The Build on Solana initiative will provide projects with access to Chainlink’s robust ecosystem, enabling them to achieve key growth milestones. Some of the notable solutions that projects can leverage include the Chainlink cross-chain interoperability protocol, Chainlink runtime environment, data feeds, and data streams. This program, which is being launched in partnership with the Solana Foundation, is expected to drive innovation by offering infrastructure support and potential incentives to participating projects. Early-stage and established projects in decentralized finance, consumer applications, and infrastructure are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to accelerate their growth and development in the web3 space. The collaboration between Chainlink and Solana is poised to bring about a new wave of innovation and advancement in the blockchain industry.
