MADRID, 10 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least two people have died and another five have been injured as a result of a Russian bombardment on the Ukrainian city of Nikopol, located on the banks of the Dnieper River and opposite Energodar, a town that houses the Zaporizhia power station.

“It is a difficult day (…). During the day, the Army of occupation of the Russian Federation has fired four times with heavy artillery against two communities in the Nikopol district”, lamented the governor of Dnipropetrovsk, Mikola Lukashuk, collects ukrinform.

According to the governor, the Russian Armed Forces have launched more than fifty projectiles on the city, hitting a transport company and a three-story residential building, as well as private homes and agricultural buildings.

Beyond Nikopol, at the national level the day has passed without major incidents, although it is true that the Russian threats sounded the anti-aircraft alarms the day before in a large part of the Ukrainian territory.
