MADRID, 21 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Russian Government has accused Ukrainian troops at the last minute of killing four people and injuring ten others after allegedly launching a bombardment on the Antonovsky Bridge, in the city of Kherson, in the east of the country.

“As a result of the shelling of terrorists by the Army of (Ukrainian President Volodimir) Zelenski in Jerson, three people have been killed, including children, and ten civilians have been wounded,” the Russian governor of has briefly reported the occupied region of Jerson, Vladimir Rogov, on his Telegram channel.

A few hours later, the deputy head of the Kherson Civil Military Administration, Kirill Stremousov, has increased the total number of dead people to four, and has qualified Rogov’s words, maintaining that no child had died after the attack.

Likewise, he has reported that the lives of the injured are not in danger at this time, as he explained on his Telegram channel.

All in all, Ukraine would have launched 12 missiles, of which 11 would have been shot down by the Russian air defense. The attack would have also affected 12 vehicles that were in the vicinity of the bridge, according to the TASS agency.

The Antonovsky Bridge is one of the main supply routes for Russia in southern Ukraine, which is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces would have an interest in demolishing the infrastructure, as they did with the Kerch Bridge in Crimea.

It is not the first time that the Ukrainian Army has attacked this bridge, since on July 19 Russian troops announced that the platform had been seriously damaged after an attack by Ukraine.
