MagicBlock just got a whole buncha cash, $7.5 million to be exact, so they can keep making cool games on Solana. LightSpeed Faction led the pack on Apr. 25, along with Delphi Digital, Robot Ventures, Maven11, Mechanism Capital, and Solana dude Anatoly Yakovenko.
They got a total of $10.5 million now, after snagging $3 million last year. They wanna use this new cash to hire more nerds and beef up their tech for game makers.
MagicBlock is all about Ephemeral Rollups, a fancy tech that lets apps on Solana run real fast without losing touch with the main Solana stuff. No need for those layer-2 chains or bridges that mess everything up.

Andrea Fortugno, one of the MagicBlock founders, said, “Yo, developers wanna make games on the fastest chain with all the money in the world, and that’s Solana. But they also want their games to run super smooth and fast like a Web2 server. MagicBlock makes it happen.”
MagicBlock is already working with Flash Trade, Supersize, dTelecom, and Jito (JTO) to make trading, gaming, and chatting happen in real-time on Solana. It’s all about keeping things together instead of splitting them up.
Even though web3 gaming is taking a nap right now, MagicBlock’s raise shows that peeps still want solid gaming tech that doesn’t mess around.
