VALENCIA, 22 Apr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The general secretary of the Popular Party, Cuca Gamarra, has asked the citizens to vote to “cease” the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, by the law of ‘only yes is yes’, as she considers that “it is a clamor in society Spanish”. “So much pain in Spanish society cannot come free,” she has defended.
“No one can understand that a government has approved a reform of the penal code that has meant that a thousand rapists, sexual offenders, pedophiles and even murderers have benefited from reduced sentences,” he censured.
In these terms, Gamarra has spoken this Saturday in statements to the media after her visit to the Cabanyal Market and to an information tent of the PPCV in Valencia, in which she has been accompanied by the PP spokesperson in the city council and candidate for the Mayor, María José Catalá.
In this sense, the ‘popular’ general secretary has stressed that “there are 104 released from prison as a result of this law.” Likewise, she has stated that of the “thousand who have benefited from reduced sentences, 130 are in this autonomous community and 12 of those who roam the streets and squares are also in this community.”
“What cannot be is that nobody assumes political responsibility for what has been a real nonsense because we are talking about a law that instead of protecting women has harmed Spanish society,” he denounced, while reiterating the “need” for “arrogance to be abandoned and political responsibilities to be agreed”.
Gamarra has defended that if the President of the Government “has neither the capacity nor the authority nor the power to dismiss or make the ministers who are most responsible for all this resign, without forgetting that he is the most responsible, it will be the Spaniards and they can be the Valencians who, through their vote, will determine the assumption of responsibilities of who is the most responsible, causing him to be dismissed by the ballot box”.
In his opinion, what is “clear” is that “so much pain” in Spanish society “cannot go free in the political arena and that can only be compensated with dismissal and resignation.”
