– Air Products awards Envision Energy a 1.67 GW wind turbine contract for NEOM Green Hydrogen Company
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, June 6, 2023/PRNewswire/ — Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, today announced the signing of a contract to supply 1.67 GW wind turbines to NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, the largest commercial-scale hydrogen in the world powered entirely by renewable energy. The mega plant is located in Oxagon, Saudi region of NEOM.
Under the contract, Envision’s state-of-the-art wind turbines, 171-6.5 MW, will be installed and are expected to be fully operational in 2026.

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company aims to produce carbon-free hydrogen using exclusively renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, to produce up to 600 tons of carbon-free hydrogen per day by the end of 2026. This initiative is a critical step in the promoting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 mission to reduce carbon emissions while fostering economic growth and job creation.
