Both companies have been working together on the “first ever smart TV NFT platform”. Nifty Gateway has already been integrated into Samsung’s premium TV product lines in 2022.

NFT Marketplace Nifty Gateway Partners with the Electronics Giant Samsung

The electronics company Samsung announced that it was exploring non-fungible token technology (NFT) and would introduce NFTs to its TV products during the first week in January. Samsung did not provide any details beyond announcing that the company would be offering the first smart TV product line with NFT capabilities.

Just two months later, Gemini’s Nifty Gateway NFT Marketplace announced it had partnered with Samsung. This partnership will “develop the first ever smart TV NFT platform to explore, purchase and trade digital art and collectibles,” according to the press release. Nifty Gateway is already integrated in Samsung’s 2022 premium TV product lines which include the QLED, Neo QLED, and QLED smart TVs.

“Using Samsung’s and Nifty Gateways’ technology, customers can seamlessly browse and display NFTs, interact with them, and even interact with them from the comfort of their sofa,” Nifty Gateway details. Customers will also have access to over 6,000 art pieces by top emerging artists like Pak, Daniel Arsham, Pak and many others.

Duncan Cock Foster, co-founder of Nifty Gateway, further explained during the announcement that Nifty Gateway hopes to bring NFTs “a billion people”.

The executive at Nifty Gateway stated that they are dedicated to making NFTs more accessible and easier to purchase. Co-founder of NFT Marketplace, he added:
