VALENCIA, 21 Apr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A consortium of entities is developing the ‘Track

In the words of Jesús Pérez, director of the Packaging and Packaging Innovation Cluster, coordinator of this initiative, packaging traceability “is one of the key points of the new Royal Decree on Packaging and Packaging Waste”. The project is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR).

This is an innovation by Heura Gestió Ambiental, together with the company Nettrim Technology and Cluster TECNARA from Aragón, whose purpose is “to achieve a complete digitization of our packaging reuse model development service, which responds to an important need for companies and that it will mean progress in this area”, explained José Guaita, president of Heura Gestió Ambiental.

This solution is based on information technology to provide the different actors involved in the packaging life cycle with all the facilities to guarantee their traceability and control through an advanced tracking system, “using development technologies for web applications and counting on the security and robustness of a cloud-based infrastructure”, highlighted Francisco Mir, CEO of Nettrim Technology, a company of the ÂTTRIM Impact Technology Group that is in charge of the technological development of the system .

This technological solution allows the different types of containers to be configured in an accessible and dynamic way and to model their own characteristics, adapting to each organization. In the same way, through various systems for recording status, monitoring and accessibility, the platform focuses on each user the relevant information that they need to see at all times, adapting the functionality in a personalized way through a powerful system of configurable roles and permissions. It is also capable of adapting to different types of devices, depending on the needs of each actor involved in the packaging life cycle.

Finally, this project has a total budget of more than 300,000 euros, as well as financing through the Next Generation funds of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR) and is part of the 2022 aid line directed to the Innovative Business Groups (AEI), approved by the General Directorate of Industry and Small and Medium Enterprises.
