Toronto, the birthplace of Ethereum, is gearing up to celebrate a decade of blockchain innovation with a series of exciting events during Canada Crypto Week from May 11–17, 2025. ETHToronto and ETHWomen will be the highlights of the week, taking place on May 13, 2025, at the Blockchain Futurist Conference.
ETHToronto, now in its fourth year, is a technical event that brings together developers and industry experts to delve into the ever-evolving world of Web3. From 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the Upper Stage at the historic Toronto Stock Exchange building, attendees can expect a lineup of panels, presentations, and networking opportunities focused on the developer side of blockchain innovation.
One of the main attractions at ETHToronto is the Wonder to the Future hackathon, hosted by WonderFi Labs. Running from May 13 to May 31, 2025, developers are invited to create innovative applications using Wonder L2 and Web3 technologies, with a special emphasis on gasless transactions to make blockchain applications more user-friendly. Participants will have access to tools, mentorship, and the chance to compete for prizes and recognition. Interested developers can sign up at www.wonderchain.org/hackathon.
Before the ETHToronto event kicks off, the third annual ETHWomen event will take place on the same stage from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. ETHWomen is a female-focused Web3 event aimed at empowering women through education and community. With speakers, panels, and networking sessions, the event encourages more women to explore opportunities in blockchain and emerging technology.
ETHWomen is proudly sponsored by Unicoin, a company dedicated to advancing female participation in the Web3 space. Silvina Moschini, Co-Founder of Unicoin, will be sharing her insights at both the ETHWomen stage and the Main Stage at the conference.
