The Justice has handed down a sentence against Amazon declaring that the 2,166 delivery men who operated with the model called Amazon Flex -in which they used their own vehicles- were false self-employed workers and therefore must be employed by the multinational.

A statement issued by the UGT, a union that is part of the procedure, indicates that the Social Court number 14 of Madrid has condemned the multinational for using as false self-employed the delivery men who “were forced to work with their own vehicles to distribute packages using a company app that told them how to work.
