MADRID, 2 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The General Council of Attorneys of Spain (CGPE) has claimed incapacity for procedural purposes from December 24 to January 6, requesting the Government that the measure enter into force this year “in order to meet the needs in terms of conciliation personal and family”.

In a press release, collected by Europa Press, the Council has “deeply regretted that there is no news about the declaration of incapacity” for the Christmas period, which is “contemplated in the Organizational and Procedural Efficiency bills, which are now in full parliamentary process”.

“In addition, these regulations include other measures to favor the reconciliation of the Attorney, such as the suspension of terms and views for birth and adoption, death of relatives, or illness of the attorney professional,” says the CGPE.

It was last April when the Council of Ministers approved the Organizational Efficiency Bill and the Procedural Efficiency Bill which, according to the Minister of Justice, Pilar Llop, represent a boost to the pillars of the Justice 2030 plan and They constitute a firm step towards a “more efficient, agile and sustainable” model.

The Council urges the Executive to “urgently” include the declaration of disability in this period “in a bill whose legislative processing allows the measure to enter into force this year, in response to the legitimate demand that the collective of Attorneys has been carrying out in order to meet the needs in terms of personal and family reconciliation.
